Awsumb planned to be a football player this year. In the meantime I
finished making the batman cape he had been begging for since summer.
Awsumb specifically requested that it be full, and have scalloped edges.
It was just supposed to be another cape for his dress up box. I had
enough fabric leftover and made a hood to go along with it. Well, as
soon as Awsumb saw that cape, that was it, he HAD to be batman. He then
asked, "where's my utility belt Mom?" I explained that it was two days
before Halloween and since he has asked to be a football player and we had
all the stuff there wasn't time to make him a body suit or utility belt. he
didn't care. Even if he only had a simple cape he was going to be
batman! I guess I should be flattered that he loves the cape so much.
He wears it everyday now, and when he isn't he insists we call him Bruce
Wayne! |
